The Department of Sports, Recreation, and Wellness (DSRW), in partnership with Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR), proudly hosted the Inter-Institute Swimming Championship on August 21-22, 2024, at the Khadki Campus. The event brought together 100 athletes—56 men and 44 women—from 22 institutes within Symbiosis International (Deemed University), celebrating their commitment, skill, and sportsmanship.
SICSR’s swimmers delivered outstanding performances, highlighted by Loojah Tuladhar’s achievements: 1st place in the 50m Breaststroke, and 2nd places in both the 100m Breaststroke and 50m Butterfly events. Nitya Khinvasara added to SICSR’s success with a series of podium finishes, taking 2nd place in the 50m Backstroke and 3rd places in the 50m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly, 200m Individual Medley, 100m Freestyle, and 100m Breaststroke.
In the team events, SICSR clinched 2nd place in the 4x25m Medley Relay, with a spirited performance by Loojah R Tuladhar, Adeetya Lawaniya, Shaikh Badshah, and Rudra Pratap. This event truly highlighted the strength, resilience, and unity of our athletes.
