As a part of our Hurukuro Lecture Series, we had the privilege of hosting the Copilot Safari, an Azure Developer Community initiative in our campus featuring an insightful talk on "Journey as a Data Analyst" by Mr. Aman Pathak. This session captivated tech-savvy students with a deep dive into GitHub Copilot, an AI tool that acts as your virtual coding co-pilot. Students learned how Copilot can suggest code completions, entire functions, and even test cases, streamlining the development process. But the lecture went beyond mere efficiency. It sparked discussions on the ethical implications of AI in coding, the importance of developer control, and the exciting possibilities for a future where humans and AI collaborate to build groundbreaking software. The session left students eager to explore the potential of AI in their coding journeys, emphasizing the importance of responsible utilization of this powerful technology.
