Event details-On March 6, 2024, the Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, Pune, hosted the AICTE-mandated event "Mera Pehla Vote - Desh Ke Liye" in Room No. 707. The event aimed to instill democratic values in students, beginning with participants taking pledges to vote responsibly and positively impact the nation's democracy. Following the pledges, attendees wrote 250-word essays on topics including "Pehla Vote, Pehla Kadam: Youth Empowerment through Voter Participation," "The Significance of Pehla Vote: Shaping the Future of Democracy," "Challenges and Opportunities in Encouraging First-Time Voters," "Pehla Vote Aur Naya Bharat: Samajik Aur Arthik Samriddhi," and "Pehla Vote: Ek Nagrik Ka Adhikar, Ek Desh Ka Kartavya." These essays allowed students to express their views and commitment to democratic values. The event successfully promoted civic duty and encouraged youth participation in the democratic process.
