Event Description:
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we the team members from the Women in Engineering Affinity group (WIE), IEEE Pune Section in association with WIE Student Branch Affinity groups of SICSR (SBA-11434) and MIT-ADTU, planned a poster making and essay writing competition to celebrate the same. The registration was free for everyone and an E- certificate was provided to all participants who submitted the posters and essays. The results were declared on 8th March 2021 for both competitions through email for the poster-making competition by SICSR and through a zoom meeting for the essay writing competition by MIT-ADTU.
For Poster making competition, 1st prize winner was Unnati Ghorpade and the runner-up was Simeen Khan Ayyub.
For the essay writing competition, 1st prize winner was Mannat Sharma and there were two runners ups Adarsh Rai and Shatakshi Vishwakarma, along these two consolation prizes were given to Sowmya J and Sheryl Mathew Thoppil.
