The AI value chain is the sequence of stages involved in creating and delivering AI systems, from data collection and computing infrastructure to model development, deployment, and end-user applications. It illustrates how different stakeholders contribute to and capture value at each stage of the process. Understanding the AI value chain helps explain where power, costs, and benefits are concentrated within the AI ecosystem.
