The Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR) celebrates a significant milestone as
Mr. Paawan Parwani (BCA Batch 2023–2027) secures a premier leadership position within the IEEE ecosystem. Paawan has been selected as the Section Student Representative (SSR) 2026 following a rigorous selection process involving over 80 applicants from more than 30 student branches.
In recognition of his consistent dedication and service, Paawan was also conferred with the IEEE Pune Section Student Member Volunteer Award 2025. His leadership journey includes serving as the Student Executive Lead for IEEE Eu-Reka 2025 and the Overall Coordinator Lead for the IEEE Pune Section Congress, reflecting his strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
These achievements underscore the strength of mentorship and institutional support at SICSR. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Jatinderkumar R. Saini, Director – SICSR, and the dedicated guidance of faculty mentor Dr. Rajashree Jain, the IEEE SICSR Student Branch continues to nurture excellence and student leadership. Paawan’s journey stands as a testament to SICSR’s commitment to empowering students to excel on prestigious professional platforms.
