Students of the Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR) showcased remarkable strategic prowess and physical resilience at the SIU Inter-Institute Taekwondo Tournament, held at the Lavale Campus on 20th September 2025. Competing against strong contenders from across the university, SICSR athletes secured podium finishes in highly competitive weight categories.
Ms. Aarsi Verma (BCA Batch 2024–2028) competed in the Under-62 kg weight category, demonstrating exceptional defensive skills, agility, and precision. Her consistent performance earned her the Second Runner-Up position, adding to SICSR’s growing list of achievements in combat sports.
Mr. Ali Asgar Ameen (BCA Batch 2025–2029) competed in the Under-63 kg weight category and showcased sharp focus and determination. He successfully clinched the Second Runner-Up position, marking an impressive debut at the inter-institute level.
These commendable performances reflect the strong fighting spirit, discipline, and perseverance nurtured at SICSR, highlighting the institute’s commitment to holistic student development through sports.
