On December 29, 2025, the Placement & Alumni Cell at SICSR bridged the gap between classroom theory and industry practice with a “Hands-on Innovation Visit” to the Maker Lab, powered by Infosys and hosted at Symbiosis International University (SIU). This visit offered students a front-row seat to the future of experiential learning.
Students explored the Maker Lab’s high-tech environment, a dedicated space designed to foster technological innovation and “learning by doing.” The visit transformed the abstract concept of innovation into a tangible experience, allowing students to see how cutting-edge technology and collaborative spaces drive innovation and real-world solutions
Beyond the physical lab, the visit highlighted a massive digital opportunity. Students gained access to a dynamic learning platform featuring 5,000+ free courses, professional certifications, and experiential learning and growth opportunities.
By opening the doors to the Maker Lab, SICSR continues to provide students with the resources and ecosystems necessary to become the next generation of tech leaders.
