The Hindi Diwas celebration was organized to commemorate Hindi Diwas, observed annually on 14 September, marking the significance of the Hindi language as an integral part of India’s cultural and linguistic heritage. The event aimed to promote appreciation for Hindi and encourage students to express themselves through speech, poetry, and interactive activities.
The event featured enthusiastic participation from two students. Aadish Ranka from BBA-IT, Semester 1, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking speech highlighting the importance of Hindi Diwas and the role of Hindi in uniting the nation. This was followed by a heartfelt poetry recitation by Ali Assafi from BCA, Semester 5, which was warmly received and deeply appreciated by the audience.
To further engage the attendees, an interactive session was conducted where participants enthusiastically took part in a game of guessing popular Hindi idioms and phrases. The event concluded on a lively note with students attempting challenging Hindi tongue twisters, adding an element of fun and excitement to the celebration.
Overall, the event successfully celebrated the richness of the Hindi language while fostering cultural pride and active student engagement.
