The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR) organized an inspiring expert talk titled “Converting Innovation into Start-Up” to encourage entrepreneurial thinking among students. The session was delivered by Mr. Abhay Desai , distinguished alumnus of SICSR and Founder of Bee Logical Software Solutions , who shared insights from his entrepreneurial journey.
During the three-hour interactive session, Mr. Desai reflected on building Bee Logical from the ground up into a growing technology organization with over 100 team members and outlined an ambitious ₹100 Crore growth roadmap. His journey demonstrated how innovative ideas, combined with consistency and real-world problem-solving, can evolve into scalable ventures.
The session provided students with practical exposure to the startup ecosystem, emphasizing curiosity, disciplined execution, and strategic planning as key drivers of entrepreneurial success. Participants gained valuable insights into startup challenges, business growth, and long-term vision.
With participation from 52 students, 4 faculty members, and one external participant , the event fostered meaningful engagement and strengthened alumni–institution ties. The expert talk concluded with a vote of thanks to Mr. Desai, reaffirming SICSR’s commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture on campus.
