Event Details: Five students from Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR), Pune, successfully participated in the Learning Express (LeX) Internationalisation program,a collaborative global initiative between Symbiosis International University (SIU) and Singapore Polytechnic (SP). This unique program aimed to broaden students’ global perspectives while engaging them in impactful community projects and honing their design thinking and innovation skills.
Held from 11th to 19th March 2025 at the scenic Sandipani campus, Lavale, the students had the opportunity to interact closely with local farmers, gaining first-hand insights into agricultural challenges. They then applied their creativity and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative prototype solutions addressing these issues in a simulated environment.The program proved to be an enriching experience, providing valuable international exposure and fostering essential skills such as teamwork, entrepreneurship, and decision-making. It also emphasized the importance of collaboration and sustainability in solving real-world problems.
