Event Details:In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR) proudly hosted the Next Gen Cities Competition, a dynamic platform that encouraged students to envision and present futuristic urban solutions driven by technology.
A total of 13 enthusiastic teams participated, each showcasing creative, practical, and forward-thinking ideas addressing real-world challenges. Among them, the solution on Food Security in Kerala, presented by Aashriya Chauhan and Agrima Dixit, emerged as the best solution, winning accolades from all.

The judging panel featured esteemed experts Ms. Swati Sarwate and Ms. Panchsheela Kamble who provided insightful feedback and constructive evaluation, enriching the overall learning experience for the participants.The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony graced by Dr. Jatinderkumar R. Saini, Honourable Director of SICSR, whose presence added immense value to the occasion.

A special note of appreciation goes to Dr. Rajashree Jain, IEEE SB Counsellor, for her mentorship and coordination, and to Sanket Kurdukar for his valued support. We also extend heartfelt thanks to all faculty members, student volunteers, and the SICSR leadership for their unwavering encouragement and seamless organization that contributed to the resounding success of the event.
