SICSR has established a strong reputation for internationalization through collaborations with renowned universities worldwide, including Deakin University and Macquarie University in Australia; Ritsumeikan University in Japan; Leeds Beckett University in the UK; Dauphine University in France; Lingnan University in Hong Kong; and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, among other European institutions.
Students at SICSR benefit from these partnerships through opportunities such as semester exchanges, short-term courses, summer schools, and faculty mobility programs for teaching and research. These initiatives provide valuable exposure to international environments and allow students to study courses that enhance their knowledge and skills. Internationalization is further strengthened by webinars and guest sessions with global delegates, participation in international conferences, and other cross-border academic engagements.
SICSR is also home to 143 international students from 16 countries, including several Afro-Asian nations, who are pursuing various degree programs. The institute actively supports these students by fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. International students are engaged in a wide range of activities, including cultural festivals, celebrations of international and intercultural days, sports competitions, NGO initiatives, industry internships, dissertations, and language courses. Additional support is provided through remedial classes, buddy programs, and volunteers for the International Cell. Under the SIU umbrella, SICSR hosts the highest number of foreign nationals, showcasing its commitment to global diversity and academic excellence.
