Event Description:
The Cultural Club conducted an online event to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of Shri Rabindranath Tagore who is one of the most celebrated litterateurs in the world. The event started with a warm welcome and brief history about Ravindranath Tagore by Mr. Kushagra Goyal followed by a documentary that helped us understand his life and contribution to our nation.
Next, we had a speech by Mr. Tushar Laad who told us about Ravindranath Tagore’s early life, achievements, and contributions all over the world. Mr. Raibata Basu presented a poem written by Tagore in Bengali which helped us see through his rich language and mindset. In the final leg of the event, Mr. Bedanta Mukherjee presented a poem written by Tagore in English.
