Pravidhi- SICSR IEEE Pune Student Branch in association with SICSR IEEE Pune TEMS Chapter organized a workshop on Introduction to Graphic Designing on July 15, 2022. The anchors Vaishnavi Arora and Soumil Khanna welcomed all to the Workshop on Introduction to Graphic Designing on the occasion of International Youth Skill Day. She said that Graphic design is an applied art that uses text and graphics to communicate visually. She said that Graphic Design as a Career could be persuaded by learning relevant skills and tools; practicing and applying your new skills; building your portfolio and connecting and expanding your network. She requested participants to make a poster on World Youth Day and showed various templates via which we could make it. A Virtual Memento was presented which was accepted by the speaker and ended a successful workshop.
Objectives:
- To introduce participants to the field of graphic design and its importance as a career.
- To provide an opportunity for participants to practice their new graphic design skills and build their portfolios.
- To help participants connect and expand their network in graphic design.
- To celebrate International Youth Skill Day and acknowledge the importance of developing skills for young people.
