Her Quiet Strength

Print Friendly and PDF

In a small town with quiet streets,
She lived with her mother’s grief.
A mind that wandered, lost and cold,
Her mother’s pain a story untold.

The girl would watch, her heart unsure,
Wishing for a life more pure.
Her thoughts grew heavy, her nights so long,
Wondering how to keep being strong.

Some days she felt like giving in,
Lost in the noise inside her skin.
But deep within, a spark would glow,
A tiny flame that fought to grow.

She found her strength in simple things
The morning sun, the song it brings.
With every step, she made her way,
Through the dark to brighter days

Now she stands, with a steady heart,
Proof that pain can’t tear apart.
From the struggle, she found her fight,
Her quiet strength, her guiding light.
