Second session was delivered by Dr. Sachin Naik, on web scraping and its applications. He explained the basic concept of web scraping, its usage, wide applications, and ethics in web scraping. He further elaborated python packages available for web scraping including BeautifulSoup, Selenium and Scrapy. He expounded on these techniques and their features with the help of examples. Further, he demonstrated the process of web scraping with the BeautifulSoup library in python.
