One Week International e-Workshop on Data Processing Techniques was organized by Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR), Pune during 8-October-2021 to 14-October-2021. A total of 45 participants registered for the eworkshop.
Among the participants 50 % were PG students and the rest participants were pursuing Ph.D. and faculty members. Professors, Assoc. Professors as well as Asst. Professors comprised the participants from the teaching fraternity.
Most of the resource persons were industry experts form industries like Microsoft, google to Name a few. The e-workshop consisted of Inaugural, technical and valedictory sessions.
Inauguration of the workshop was carried out by SICSR Deputy Director, Dr. Sachin A. Naik. He declared that this is second international e-workshop organised by SICSR and also stated that it will be definitely useful to students and faculties for their research. He expressed his best wishes to the e-workshop and declared the inaugural.
The e-workshop was successful in knowledge sharing as well as creating a much needed research environment in the area of Machine learning. Based on the request of participants, recordings of the sessions were shared.
The e-workshop concluded on 14 th Oct. 2021 with vote of thanks by Dr. Prafulla B. Bafna. All the participants highly appreciated the timely beginning and ending of all the sessions for the entire week. The average feedback score based on all the sessions was 4.6/5. Students appreciated the e-workshop and started connecting offline with the guest speakers.
